MoBster of the MoMent: Catherine Eklund

Catherine and her handsome boys Garrett (7), Anders (5) & Eli (2) Catherine is a Mom to those wonderful boys and works full time at Flywire as the head of Global Strategic Partnerships. She always shows up to our MoB events ready to engage with our members, whatever the subject matter might be that evening. Catherine is a doer and reliable. While she is busy juggling bit of a hectic life she leads her days with grace and confidence. Proud to know this MoBster! Why did you join the MoB? I was struck by the sisterhood of shared experiences and the generational range of mothers- I think the MoB not only offers a place to learn but a place to share (read:vent) the concerns that are deep in our hearts- without judgement or fear of being labeled. Biggest challenge right now with your boys? Besides trying to potty-train the worlds most obstinate 2.5 year old, I would say it is the balance of time and energy with each boy, especially when you have one son who is most sensitive and thrives on quality of time. How do you reboot? What do you so for YOU? Read, listen to positive podcasts and music, pilates and I love having a great meal/ wine with my friends. I try to recenter to the things that are most important so I don’t lose my sanity. Give us one thing on your bucket list? To live in two foreign countries for over a year so I can be immersed in a different culture and travel new areas.

Why did you join the MoB?
