Injuries can be devestating to boys whether they are playing sports or running around playing and having fun.  The physical repercussions from an injury are usually apparent, but the emotional and psychological ramifications are often less obvious.  

Join Dr. Armandi Vidal as he talks to The MoB about injuires in boys from a very young age through adulthood.  Dr Vidal will take us through many questions and concerns that come up when dealing with or thinking about injuries.

Dr. Vidal is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. He is an avid crossfitter, skier, mountain biker and fitness enthusiast and enjoys taking care of both elite and recreational athletes in Denver and Boulder. 

His clinical expertise includes open and arthroscopic surgery of simple and complex knee, shoulder, and elbow disorders. He has a particular clinical focus on primary and revision ACL reconstruction, cartilage restoration and complex knee reconstruction and osteotomy. Dr. Vidal serves as Head Team Physician for the Denver Nuggets basketball team as well as team physician for the University of Colorado and University of Denver athletic programs.  In additon, Dr Vidal has 2 young, active boys.
